Ok I took my spark plugs out yesterday to give them a bit of a clean and they aren't just covered in carbon (Black hard chalky stuff) as they should be..
But they also have quite alot of black sticky shit.. Like oil almost..

What plugs are you running.

The heat range is a biggy, IMO NGK are the ones.

What NGK, heat range ?

Does sound like an oil bypass problem, but start at the basics.

Have you tested the lead to see if its delivering a full voltage.

was the engine hot when you pulled em out or just run cold? can be fuel from teh choke too

pull em out hot and have a look or just chuck new ones in, they arent dear and its pretty common

change your oil too if it needs it

Does anyone bother running the blingy Iridium plugs in their Zook?
I run them in my bike, but then again I only have to buy two.

I reckon teh big drama would be an engine that wouldnt clog up a set in 100000km :)

Yes the engine was hot.. They are new spark plugs. And new leads.

Do you have a multimeter, this is the way to test leads, if not, 0pull the plug, put it on the lead, hold it by the rubber and have the motor turned over
it should thro a nice spark, if not, it could be the plug, lead, or cap, without the multimeter there is no way that I know of to pinpoint the problem.

If no or little spark, you know the problem.

Pull a good one and see what the spark is like, that way you have a comparison.

no no, they meant the plug heat range, eg BPR5ES-11, where the 5 indicates the heat range, with NGK, the lower the number the hotter the spark (the r refers to it being a resister plug, -11 means a 1.1mm gap)
