Have a think about what the gear lever does and you can work out which is the switch. When you move the gear lever into Rev, you move it across to the right and back. Because the lever pivots in a seat, you are actually moving the far LEFT shift RAIL forward. The end of this shift rail contacts the end of the switch. In your pic, it's the switch with the white top. Over the years, Suzuki has used different plug ends and wire traces on these switches, but the position has remained the same. The other 2 switches operate Vacuum Switching Valves in 4th and 5th gear for emissions and EGR purposes. |
