Fitting up a just_cruising transfer lift kit at the moment ... +40 above standard, like this photo I've pinched from an old post of his. Have got a Roctoy ring on there too with 2" BL and can't get the passenger side mount in ... the Roctoy ring hits the driver's side of the tunnel about 5mm shy of being able to slide in the smaller of the two lift blocks.

Can I safely shave 5-10mm off the mount on that side, 'clocking' the transfer down slightly on the passenger side? Would prefer to do that that take meat off the ring.

Also didn't realise that I should have marked the flanges when I removed them from the transfer. I take it this isn't really likely to cause too many problems?

dont forget the box will need some clearance too - it moves around a bit on its mounts =)

mmm... hammer

he's right you know - if at first you don't succeed, find a bigger hammer.

Yeah hammer it is. Actually managed to get it in there once I tightened up the driver's side bolts, pulling that side down some. So will give it a gentle tap with Mr Persuasion and should be dandy =)

i have 50mm BL with 50mm Translift.

Hammer floor/tunnel corners and slight shaving of the ring is needed.
