Ive got a vibration/hum once i start to get to about 60km and once up above 80 km it gets louder, it completely stops when i go around a left hand bend/corner!

Just replaced my passenger side rear wheel bearing coz that was stuffed, the other wheels had no play when wobbling them.

Any idea's, gearbox mount? engine mount?

I have the same problem. When I turn the vibration goes away, I can't find anything wrong with my vitara. I'm going to see if one of my control arms is bent next week sometime, only thing I can think of.

Had exactly the same thing when I first got my car. It was the front left wheel bearing. I found it really weird as well because the wheel had no play, nor was there any real vibration, just the noise.

Put the MT/R's back on as it's clearly the AT's that you just bought thats causing all these noises.

I'm getting some whooping at about 105kmh, nothing before then. Just put it down to a resonance somewhere. Wheel hasn't fallen off yet...

I'd replacing your RHS wheel bearing as well b4 looking to further. Rule that area out b4 looking else where

it will be one of your wheel bearings , regardless of play or no play

It was the front wheel bearings, both had pitting in the outer race, the wheels had no play/movement in them.
Replaced and was quiet as a mouse afterwards. :D
