Got the new tyres fitted just before xmas - just thought I'd put up some pics 8)

Have gone from the stock 235/60-16 (27") to 225/75-16 (29") This has given us an extra 28mm in lift too 8)
They fit almost perfectly with the 30mm lift (coil spacers) although there is a small amount of rubbing at the back at full compression - should be able to 'adjust' the inner guards with a mallet though

On road it has killed a little of the response - you notice it mainly at open road speeds - 100k on the speedo is now 108k, so it drops the revs a bit - only really a problem when we have the roof tent on though

Anyway - a couple of pics:

Hope this helps someone who is looking for a bit of extra lift 8)

Yeah - got the Cooper ATR's - they are a light Truck construction so hopefully a bit tougher..... off to Straddie at the end of the month so will get to try them out on the sand....looking forward to getting back to landcruiser park

How are your struts?? , are they topping out off road, i have not put the spacers in the front of mine and i gave my strut spacers to a freind so i will have to get more in.

Struts seem to be ok - the back is worse than the front for topping out - need new shocks now - any cheap options which bolt in but have that extra 30mm of length?

What are the strut spacers worth? may be interested to get that bit of extra flex.....

Hmmm... i am now wondering if i get these Kumho AT's in a 235/70/16, that they are gonna scrap on my GV with standard suspension -

I only have 235/60/16 normal road tyres on at the moment, and i was just about to get the AT's fitted this week, but now i am not sure, does anyone know if they will go on without scrapping ? :?

What are the differences in diameter in mm, from a 60 profile tyre, to a 70 and 75 ?
