Hi,

I've got a 2000 m13a jimny, my gearbox is damaged.

right now, i found a gearbox from a 2007 m13a model, but am wondering if there's any difference between vvt and non-vvt gearboxes??

Cause I also found a 2008 model, but the guy says it wouldnt fit my car cos it's a vvt.

Thanks,
Yun Ling :D

Is it a Gearbox (Manual) you're talking about, or an Automatic Transmission?

A gearbox will be fine behind any engine providing the bellhousing pattern is the same, but an Auto MAY have electronics that are only suited to a particular ECU.
