Hey Guys,

I have one of these brackets that appears to have come off a front diff of my Vitara when Rick had the car.

Anyone know if this is the same bracket that helps reduce the snapping of alloy diffs, or if this is simply a replacement due to a lift kit?

Cheers ;)

That is the Calmini pinion mount bracket off the front diff, they locate the diff lower than standard when used with the other diff drop brackets (left & right) I'm hoping you've still got one attached... I can't remember if your little beast is running the Calmini Anvil which has the L & R diff drop brackets built in.

The bolt to the crossmember under the engine via another bracket.

My car is running a Steel GV diff conversion, i know that.

Are there any bracket upgrades to stop/reduce alloy diffs snapping on a stocker vitara?

I managed to persuade gamerx to buy a Vitara and join the crew, trying to avoid an alloy diff explosion if its a cheap bracket to chuck in etc.

I was hoping this was it, i guess not :(

the diff drop is really to bring the CV angles back in check after lifting.

have a read thru this thread on Zu, you might have to register to see the pics?

Hey Killa,

That was a spare lower Calmini bracket.

You will need the uppers to get gamerx to be able to use this
