Contemplating the possibility of 235/85R16 tyres for my LJ80 (probably early next year). Biggest issue so far is I cannot locate concrete figures on the rims that are available to suit. I currently have 15x7 speedies on it, think they are around a -12 or -15 offset which I am very happy with. Does anyone know what is available in 16" rims that is a close match for this offset? (thinking I would want either 6 or 7 inch wide rims).

Previous owner of my Vit had 16's with a -13 offset, so they do exist.
I'll try to find out what they were.

Highway-Star - i've just had some rims custom made for just under $150ea... i got 15x7 -38 made, i doubt a 16x7 would cost much more. The centres are chev rally ones and the bands (rim) is ROH brand.

could be worth looking into, as this lets you get the rim center you want at the offset you want, ie: you'd ideally get a -25 offset on the 16x7, should make the sidewall flush with the flares running 30x9.5s

I can't justify custom rims for this car. The car is a budget thing, and as far as I am concerned the rims are disposable items. The Silverstones that are on it now are in better shape than the rims they are on, and both were bought around the same time new.

I'm running Dynamic 15 x 7 now I own it.
Curiously in a -13 which is not on that big list.

There was a similar set on ebay, they werent sold the last time i looked...

16 X 7" is a reasonable sized rim. Am sure you could squeeze 265 wide tyes on the rim.
Unsure on how they would look on the car though.
Hard to visualise the different offsets.
Anyone got these kinda wheels on the sierra? interested to see what the offset actually looks like...
