Instead of calculating 100-150ks to a tank, can you tell how many kilometers to the liter, or how many liters per hundred kay. If your tank is dented to buggery, 100 - 150k may well be fine, but without knowing how much fuel you are using, as in how many liters to do the 100-150k its impossible to say whether that is excellent fuel milage, or fuk all. |

don't forget larger tyres will put you odo/speedo out giving you a false reading. |

Another thing, are you going by the fuel gauge, or running out, fuel gauges are a tad unreliable, every time i fuel up, I press the odometer and zero it, this tells me how many Ks I have dun without trying to remember, I get around 10lph out of the vitara, so I know when i get about 300 or so up on the odo its time to refuel, no matter what the gauge says. |

Checked everywhere for any fuel leaks? At tank, along lines and around carby? |

Depends on the driving for me. Driving around town with 31's and 6.5:1 transfer I get around 10 litres per 100. Freeway driving trying to sit on 110, and the fuel economy is abysmal |
