Hi y'all, I'm considering swapping my new Jimny to WT Tcase and am not sure whether to install lower gears or not. Can anyone come up with the following info;
1. Standard ratios in a VVT Jimny transfer, High and Low
2. Standard ratios in a NON-VVT Jimny transfer, High and Low
3. Standard ratios in a WT Sierra transfer, High and Low

Also, apart from the conversion needed for the speedo, is there any other wiring that may need to be tackled, for example will I need to do anything about the electronics behind the operation of the push button Tcase. I'll be installing manual hubs again so that won't come into the equation.
Is there any engine management info sent from the Tcase that will need to be dealt with?

i guess you would be cuting a hole in the floor for the transfer stick.. So cut the cables of the push buttons or re wire them into headlights or something crazy =P

Won't need to cut a hole in the floor because Suzuki have just bolted a plate over the hole. I just need the boot, plate etc which I'm picking up while I'm in Sydney. I suppose it would be cool to use those switches for lights for something.

I've never done this, but unless you twin stick the case, then put air operated rams on it, it won't be button operated.... never looked at a jimny, but i think that there is always some way of making the speedo work, an adapter plate maybe? at a complete guess the speedo just count the revolutions coming out of the back of the case, sounds simple enough..... there is only a 4wd light on 1.3 case's, no engine management, and there is a pretty good gear calc on the good tech section....

hope it helps :D vague i know :lol:
