I've just been looking at my ARB loom and it looks like I never connected the lights to the dash lights. I just checked the wiring diagram I have for the Sierra and it shows the wire for the dash lights to be a red wire. Does anyone know if that's right?

yellow with black trace for a 1 litre, not sur eif 1.3 is the same.

just checked, 1.3 is red with yellow trace. which means I could be wrong about the 1 litre colours, it's possible it's the same.

Yeah, but the dash is out of the vehicle at the moment so no power.

I found a 2 wire connector in behind the dash that i'm not sure about.




It has red/yel wire and a black wire, perhaps it's for a dimmer for the interior lights?

what colour wire goes to the light for the heater controls and cig lighter? thats how we used to figure stuff like this out in the old days

In mine a two pin connector like that went to the heater/demister control light. Having put a WT dash into a 1l, I can say with a fair degree of certainty that the wire colours are the same.
