They are bolted to the floor in the wagon area. So you need quite a long strap on the baby seat to reach it. I had a piccie somewhere of it. I'll see if I can find it.

Where are the child seat restraint anchor points in a circa 2000 Grand Vitara LWB? Are they on the floor like in the 95 model, or up near the roof? |

Open the back door and just at the ruber dust seal at floor level on the left and right are 2 plastic caps pop them off and thats where you bolt the restrant bracket. |

Bugger - shit of a place to have them, makes using the back area for storage hard. Wish they had them up high like other vehicles. |

I don't have the need for mine so I removed them, But I have corcled the spot they are located in the piccy below. It is a pain in the arse! If you have baby seats strapped to the restraints you basically lose the use of your storage area.
