Could be time for extractors. Not happy. Do extractors bolt onto the cat or do you have to cut the engine pipe? any one have a manifold for sale? |

wow - thats pretty decent! new ones you'd undo the joiner and probably have to shorten the pipe going into the engine bay. i highly recommend lukey extractors too... mine are AWESOME. |

fixed in typical slack auszookers style until I can get replacement headers or extractors. I just hope it doesn't smell like tuna when it gets hot. I was gunna use a VB can but the tuna can was a bit thicker. It's got muffler putty underneath. I don't do things half assed |

My Jimny did this exact thing last week. Same crack, same place. would it be possible to weld it up or would that be a waste of time? (OT. I always wanted a diesel Jimny, now at least it sounds like one. |

welding of cast iron is specialized. you need to head up the whole piece in an oven ps still haven't fixed it properly |

Good to know the tuna can is still working. Might give it the Bazzook treatment. Would love to drop some cash on on a new exhaust but i just spent bucket loads on the front hubs. Bad timing. |

would it be possible to weld it up or would that be a waste of time? It's possible, but it's one of those situations where it will cost more to fix than it's worth. On top of that you've still got a cast iron manifold, so expect more cracks in the future. Extractors FTW |

I welded it up today. Managed to weld completely around it with the MIG. Not pretty looking but its sealed and you cant see it. |
