I have recently turbo'd my sierra. I've done full rebuild kit, minus pistons. New head, ect. While it wasn't turbo'd it didnt smoke under de-acceleration. Now every now and again it will. Really white smoke. I'm now on the hunt to find out why. I've removed the head because I had a coolant leak at the front of the head. I looked at the gasket and there is no tracking if oil. I checked my valve guide seals and the springs still there. What the he'll could it be.??. Has anyone ever come along this. Could it be coolent leaking into N1 pot?? |

Turbo compressor side is good. I haven't checked exhaust. Shaft end play and float is very good. I'm running 6, 7 psi. And I have a 16mm oil return line. There is not one drop of oil in the intake plumbing. And I'm using a catch can on my breather. But I do have a blow of valve that's not plumbed back in. Hell it has me beat. I do have a fare bit of blow by for a new engine though. But all was ok till I turbo'd.!! |

any I've ever seen is up.. once back together run it with the pvc hose to the tappet cover disconnected, could just be pressurizing the crank case.. |

Alloy expands more than steel, assuming the block isnt filled with water that gets pumped to a radiator to keep its temperature stable |
