Post subject:  will i need to change the wiring loom

if i swap my tired old 1lt for a 1.3 will i need to change the wiring loom ?

also is it worth changing to the newer dash with the tach ?

will i need to change the loom if i change dashes ?

No. Most of it will hook straight up again I believe. You may need to change a plug here and there, but not too much. And just run a small aftermarket tacho if you want one.

so ill just run the wire for it

Remember you'll want to jump out the external regulator, as 1.3 alternators are internally regulated.

You don't need to change the whole loom, just be thoughtful and work through each plug/issue as it arises. It's been done before.

yeah that things wicked mines not going to be all out like that im building it up to travel from brizzy to cape york and back having a fitter and turner trade behind me iam good at what i do but iv never really done anythink with 4x4 mainly just cnc machining

but you guys have help heaps since i joined
