there is a small round black canister in the engine bay on the drivers side, got a hose going into the top and one out the bottom, any idea what this is and is it needed to be kept or can i chuck it? |

Sounds like the carbon canister/ charcoal canister. Its an emissions thing. It collect fuel vapours from the tank aparently |

charcoal canister. its the breathing system for the tank. you can get rid of it but atleast put a filter on the end. |

ok cool, thank you, i thought it was a charcoal canister, just dont like taking bits off without knowing for sure. |
