Hey folks, have found a nice cheap baleno motor in pieces and wondering if its worth buying, rebuilding and throwing in my 93 sierra. Looking at around $200-$300 for the motor but have been told i can find running ones for that? any help would be appreciated, thanks |

that is pretty damn cheap, was going to try just hotting up the 1.3 but after reading over as many forums on the topic it seems that its a lot of effort for not much difference. the baleno 1.6 efi coilpack seems to be the conversion of choice among (most) zookers for a not so horrifically complex conversion. doesnt seem to be many of the good old g16b's around atm though, trying to weigh up my options |

That 1.8L would make your Zook get up and go, and give it some awesome grunt offroad... and you wouldnt really need to hot it up... |

my uncle runs a 1.8 in his zook ute with reduction gears other than that its bog stock. that car made me want to get into zookies, and here i am today. |

true? that would be a bit of a more difficult conversion than the 1.6 though i bet so i may leave it and opt for the more common one i think.i think il be getting some reduction gears soon too |
