I'm thinking of adding heated mirrors to my Jim. I know you have a gajillion degrees of heat right now, but trust me - here, it makes sense right now  Some Jimnys have heated mirrors from the factory, but mine did not.
So, my question is: has anyone cracked open a stock mirror ? I'm interested in knowing if the wiring for mirror heaters is present in models without this option. Thanks ! |

its not easy just buy a second hand mirror? or just too expensive than buy the heater mechanism? |

From my parts car. Only wires for the power mirror motor. No heating. 00' m13a glx. I dont think we got this option. |

Gday Vaxxi, Jimnys in Oz don't have heated mirrors or seat etc but do in other European parts of the world. in Oz we just get the shit. try www.jimny.se you might find better answers there maybe in the body's wiring loom heated mirrors are included. the heating is part of the mirror and you could find something on ebay there. hope this helps. Yeah, those are the same mirrors I found, but the seller doesn't have more info on the wiring. The Jimny came with mixed options here also (depending on year/variant), so separate cables are the way to go it seems. Thank you for the info
