As I have to replace my CV's and rear axles I figure I should do the wheel bearings while I'm at it.
Do I need to use Genuine Suzuki or can I use a Non Genuine?
If Non Genuine, what' a good brand and where's the best place to get them in Brisbane?

Non genuine will be a LOT less expensive..
Try any specialist bearing shop or PM Weaves.

Suzuki Genuine Bearings are not made by Suzuki, they are either Koyo or NTN. The exact same bearing is available from bearing suppliers for a fraction of the dealership prices.

Any reputable brand of bearings will do the job, (Koyo, NTN, Timken, NSK, SKF, etc) just do as ajsr said and avoid the crap brands.

I bet you a shitload you can get them. Most of the fleebay jobs are probably chinese.
the problem with the chinese stuff is they can't get the metal qualitys right and anything they seem to harden is not right either.
you can usually tell a chinese bearing just by looking at the finish of the machining

The Chinese can make you anything you want out of any metal you want just as good as anyone else, but when they are doing it for themselves all they see is they need to make it cheaper to get the business
