my passenger side engine mount has broken are the vl ones worth upgrading to, they seem to be priced the same, is it just a matter of grinding off the locator on the vl mount and fitting it, or is there some secret squirrel business, can i just fit the broken one or do i need to do both at the same time. the engine torques to the drivers side so i spose its the safe to assume the passenger side mount is normally the first to go. |

I think the drivers side is the first to go. I have a new set you can have for $25 posted. |

When you load the motor up in forward gears the torque puts the drivers in compression and the passengers in tension. The passenger side often tears, whilst the drivers side ends up crushing itself to failure. Layto.... |
