I have seen a couple mention 2wd samurai's. Googled and could not really find much.
Were they 2wd from factory?

Heaps of them in Bali, have a solid front axle tube like a trailer with the swivel hubs on the ends, just no diff.

Weight tax? Nsw's regos go up the heavier the car is..

The heavier your car, the more rego you pay. Its not classed as 'weight tax' But it could be..

They have sold 4wd height 2wd rodeo's for years...(but they have another purpose)

And now most soft roaders are now have a fwd only option. For the poser market.

So Barbie can drive to tennis with the girls with the top down, or take Ken for a picnic at the beach. No need EVER for 4wd, so why pay for the extra mechanicals?

To annoy people with the size of the car, and so they have more room for driving lights to be on 24/7.

People buy cars for a purpose. But its slowly turning into wank factor. Like lowrange in a subaru outback... I prefer my extra cupholder. And i have already been offroad in it.. :twisted:

YES! Most do anyway. Mine does not, but still awd (checked the rear diff) and extra cupholder.

Feels like normal gears (driven Older 00 version)...And your not going to do rock climbing in them..

Don't knock a Subi, my Forester has "low range", and you can shift from low to high on the fly, great in peak hour tracffic.

I have a 2wd suzuki, but it has the option of being a 4wd by engaging the hubs and moving the transfer lever.

If you find one let us know, the only 4wd shop we could find was a small ARB one which had prices similar to ours :roll: Lots of tyre shops though.
