7" is a good size for a sierra. Same size as your headlights. Lightforce 240's look silly. Thats all I know |

i like the lightforce 170's, but seeing you're doing a spring over just for looks, i suggest you get the biggest baddest spotties you can find.... lightforce 240's might be a tad small for you. |

Well anit you funny ey The SPOA is so i can fit bigger tyres under, who said i cant go and get 32s or 33s, i only said 31s because thats what every one has been saying is the best for sierra, and im getting wider off set on my rims so personaly i cant see the prob with a 4" lift and 32s with a wide off set Yeah its gona look tuff but it ill also preforme better off road as well, and alot of ppl get SPOA set ups, theres nothing wrong with em And if your going to be a smart ass and not give me any useful info on spoties, dont post in this section sorry if im full on but i didnt join this website to be joked about, |

I have seen plenty of SPUA setups perform way better than my SPOA setup ever did. Quit calling everyone a smart ass (because next to a dumb ass like you, we are all smart asses), and stop doing shit just 'cos it looks cool. We are not boost cruising, functionality over form everyday. |

Big lights = less air to radiator, and altered air flow dynamics, so cooling can be affected. Also consider upgrading your low beam, as when you dip your lights, with good spotties, it is like turning the lights off. |

I like the XGT's on mine. Don't have cooling problems unless I'm sitting idling with the aircon on for a fair while ... and that's no fault of the lights.

Also consider upgrading your low beam, as when you dip your lights, with good spotties, it is like turning the lights off. just on the subject, aside from a proper relay switched wiring loom, what other upgrades are available for the low beams? can you buy better rating seald beam units? ive never really looked into it. |

I'm told there is a better sealed beam headlight available, straight swap in, from some other car/4wd, forget which, but were/are available from auto shops. Thinking Toyota something. A lot of quartz halogen lights leak water, not good on a 4by |

theyre landcruiser lights... sealed beam high wattage. im just going to get unsealed again (mine are full of mud) and seal them up myself using a breather hose to allow air to expand/contract still. as for spotties, i love my hella spotties:
only 150w i think, but they do the job and are a very wide spread beam. |
