OK at work I park under a bunch of shitty trees that proceed to dump some nasty shit on my car, combined with being right next to the cleaning bay of a road maintenance company and under a flight path for landing and take off ive got this weird shit all over my windows I cant get off. I have tried Glass Cleaner Metho Alloy Cleaner Cut and Polish Scratch remover Auto Glym glass polish Shower Power Wax and Grease remover Razor Blade All of which knock it down a bit but its still there, I think the polish might work given enough effort but i'm not ready for effort yet, so anyone got any ideas on what to try? tried to get a pic of it but ill need a clearer day I think Anyone got any suggestions on stuff to try? |

Razor blade and Prepsol after..... If that doesn't work, replace the glass and buy a car cover or just live with the stains. |

i had a ton of trouble getting decals off my car once and ended up calling a detailer to come get them off - he used citric acid and it did a brilliant job! otherwise - try eucalyptus oil, that tends to make short work of lots of sticky things. |

Nail polish should get the gunk off, from memory baking soda is pretty good at buggering off that last 5% that never wants to shift |

ooo yeah add nail polish remover to the list, forgot that one its not really sticky either, but water wont bead off it, which is why I want to get it off, cant see shit when it rains |

citra force - natural citric acid degreaser eats everything but is gentle Baby il is good too for dissolving oil, but adds oil that is easy to clean off |

Definitely give citric acid a go I don't know wether it would work but you could try a caramel wheel on it. |

Problem is, if you try and remove it with one thing, it can change the stains properties and make it even harder to remove with the proper remover. |

Try CLR or Simple Green. If either of these removes the spots then clean and coat the windscreen with RainX. The RainX will help to stop it from happening again. If none of this works, check with your insurance company to see if you can get a free windscreen. |

Not sure if it would work but try some "Eucalypyus oil" you can buy this at most supermarket or chemists It works realy well on most man made sticky stuff so may work on the sap also |
