| Post subject: | engine not starting |
motor has had a full rebuild, slapped it into the car today. hooked every thing up. then had problems with the dizzy, had no spark. so i fiddled around with it and has got spark now. but now it wont start  .
theres spark and theres fuel, and the timming is wright. any body know whats happen. it has lost me

are you sure that your timing is on number 1 and not 4

will it fire with a little fuel down the carb?? if not your spark is wrong |

the head got recon(valves, stem seals, guids sleves,shaved) block got bored to 40 thou with matching piston and ring, also shaved. motor is a g16a with g13ba head put fuel down the carb doesnt really do ny thing, after a few cranks it back fires out of the carb |

Timing (either cam or diszzy) is DEFINATELY out of wack. Check both again. |

royce is right, turn dizzy 180, and its started. a lil bit rough, im guessing im one tooth out on the dizzy |
