| Post subject: | engine not starting |
motor has had a full rebuild, slapped it into the car today. hooked every thing up. then had problems with the dizzy, had no spark. so i fiddled around with it and has got spark now. but now it wont start theres spark and theres fuel, and the timming is wright. any body know whats happen. it has lost me |

are you sure that your timing is on number 1 and not 4 |

will it fire with a little fuel down the carb?? if not your spark is wrong |

the head got recon(valves, stem seals, guids sleves,shaved) block got bored to 40 thou with matching piston and ring, also shaved. motor is a g16a with g13ba head put fuel down the carb doesnt really do ny thing, after a few cranks it back fires out of the carb |

Timing (either cam or diszzy) is DEFINATELY out of wack. Check both again. |

royce is right, turn dizzy 180, and its started. a lil bit rough, im guessing im one tooth out on the dizzy |
