What bulb's, if they are 55w's you would want a relay or 2.. |

no you cant use speaker wire you need From Battery positive a 30 amp fuse, then 6mmish cable to pin 30 and pin 86 on your relay then run 4mm from each pin 87 to ONE PAIR only of lights, so youll have 2 lots of cable running down, earth the lights on their mounts stick a normal toggle switch in the dash and run a thin (speaker ok here) from pin 85 to one side of the switch, run the other side of the switch to an earth and your done |

If you use speaker wire we will require pic's.. Don't use speaker wire, it's called SPEAKER wire for a reason.. |

actually really its still wire, just finer strand so it flexes better and usually less resilient insulation, protected and big enough it works fine, but to be big enough it would be heaps dearer than normal cable |

for 2 relays join pin 86 together run the rest separate in my opinion 4 55w lights isnt too much for a 30 amp relay |

4 x 55w lights = 220 watts. at 12 volts that's going to draw 18.3 amps. So as Royce said one 30 amp relay will be ok. I'd use a 30 amp fuse and the 6mm wire to the relay as a minimum. You might want to start thinking about an alternater upgrade if you're running spotties, headlights, fridge etc as well.. |

Not really into rocks myself, but, I would have thought that this would be the ideal application for LED lighting - shallow (front to back), bright, diffuse - and low current draw. |
