put a LED flasher can in it, have a search as i think someone talked about putting a resistor in to slow them down.

LED draw a lot less current then standered lights. You will have to buy a resistor for it, they sell them at most automative shops like autobarn. I remember want33's posting a really good resistor where its just plug in...

you can put a resistor in, you just wire them in accross the pos and neg to load the circuit up they get pretty hot though

No, I just fitted an LED flasher can. Much better than putting resistors in.

Go an electronic flasher unit that way it wont matter what sort of lights are hooked up anywhere.

just a note, the LED flasher cans are illegal to run as it doesnt flash faster or give you other feedback when a light isnt working. the resistors are legal though.
I run a LED flasher, Dont buy the cheapest eBay ones, I had one that only worked properly when the engine was not running.

I got a electronic flasher ,led tail lightd dtill flash to fast...unit must be led specfic...load bearing.....whilst the guy was trying to find one that would fit ,one auto elect said fit resistors, they don't get hot ,he's fitted hundreds,
the next one in the stoe said just let them flash fast like everyone else.
