Went out for a play today and when I got back on the road my sierra had a loud Klunk-Klunk-Klunk noise. The noise is continuous and speeds up according to the vehicle speed. All the driveshaft bolts are tight, transfer mounts are intact and wheel nuts are tight. What is causing this? :?

X2 you've problary flogged one out.

FYI chock your wheels and then release your handbrake and Gearbox in nuteral. Them there will be no load on your tail shafts to check them correctily.

near hold the shaft and move it up and down, it should not have any play. turn it 90 and do it again. thats all it takes.

Looks like I'm up for some new unis then :( What's the best brand to get? Where from? Greasable or non-greaseable?

just to be clear, not up and down shaft, your pushing the shaft up and down between the car and ground.
