Fatzook is in the process of widening his tunnel also. He is doing vit manual, however he made a template off Matt's ute which has the auto. At a guess there would be at least 60-80mm off each side and cut out almost the whole way up, then just plated back up if that makes sense??? |

hey AJ, my application is a little different but to fit the corolla 3 spd in I had to stretch the tunnel on the passenger side out by around 40mm and about 20mm on the drivers side to clear the sump pan. |

Assuming the pan and lines etc on the 3sp take up the same amount of room as the 4sp, I'd say a good 50mm per side, and back to where the floor steps up in the height from the footwell. I'll get a pic of my floor for you. Its all marked out ready to cut. |
