when im driving in heavy rain i cannot see a thing in my 92 sierra my wipers are too slow is any one else experianced this problem and how did they fix it cheers |

How heavy? like torrential crazy rain? pull over. If normal heavy rain, I have waxed my windscreen and the water beads, I find that helps and new wiper blades will surprise you, I thought mine were good and then I got new ones, they are great. |

wiper motor is in the windscreen frame on my soft top. |

i run rainx, and no windscreen wipers, motor is rooted, but then, with rainx ya dont need wipers, except in very soft misty type rain. |

x4billion, Just did my new subaru's window, and my missus one. Good stuff. Stuff seeing through a blur. Gives you a headache, especially at night. My susbaru was that bad that wiper on full ball, (uber quick!) And i still couldnt see properly. Now i should be able to drive with no wipers.

Maybe every thing is flogged out. Go to super cheap and buy complete wiper arms for the car. Then pop the covers of and spray all the linkages with silicone grease. Then wash the windscreen with a proper ammonia based window cleaner. Then try it in the rain. |

My susbaru was that bad that wiper on full ball, (uber quick!) And i still couldnt see properly. Now i should be able to drive with no wipers. Always give the window a good solid clean, before using, then, apply it 3 or 4 times before using, reapply weekly, works perfect. |
