Hay all, I have been searching for the legal requirements in registering my Sierra with a 1.6ltr conversion. All I could find was you are only allowed to go 15% over factory (not sure if that's right). Can anyone point me in the right direction to what needs to be done to keep it legal. My Sierra is fitted with a 1.6 G16A 8V and it's regi renewal time. |

To be used as a guide only. http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/registration/ ... v_2007.pdf My dad has put a 5k (1.5) in a 4k(1.3) corolla. Legit. All that was needed was an engine number change through the rta. No engineering. It was practically a bolt in fit, like a g16a from a g13a. I dont have a sierra to help you, but it will be simple for you to work out. Tare weight etc. |
