Hey Guys I moved my sierra during all this recent heavy rain in Brisbane and when i started it the battery light came one and has now stayed on.

I just checked the battery voltage while it is running (12.2V) and while it is off (12.4V) and it looks like it is not charging.

Looks like I need a new alternator. Has anyone had their charge light come on after heavy rain. May just be a coincident.

i did but that was coz it got into the plug for the alternater it died out though.
