Hi Another annoying question, I'm trying to bleed my brakes after fitting longer brake lines, with the car off the pedal feels great though the moment I start the car it goes to the floor, now I have done the usual checked for leaks kept bleeding the whole lot, with the car running I pumped the brakes to get a Lil bit of pedal and the engine tries to stall or does stall, can anyone give me some advice on what this could be? Thank you |

brake booster problem maybe? If brakes had air in line, pedal would still be bad even with car off. If starting car causes brake fail, it may be loosing vaccuum, or something? |

I often clamp off each individual brake line, and try pedal, that can tell you where your problem is. IE front, back, left or right etc |

Sounds like a vacuum problem cause the moment I pump the break pedal it tries to stall |

That is what I think, too. Buggered or loose lines, Blocked vac line, booster may need a service. |

dont bleed the brakes with the engine running, you can tear the booster and cause vacuum issues |

Thanks for the heads up, I have bled the brakes soooo much two full bottles of brake fluid and still no pedal and stalling engine, all I done was change the rear brake line to a extended one and the front right, and the left is different again which is typical of a coily. Will try and see what else it can be |

Has anybody ever had the problem when they have installed extended brake lines that the booster isn't pimping enough fluid to the brakes? I'm now going to remove the extended brake line put back in standard lines and see if it changes, have gone over everything so that's my new option |
