Hey guys

Like the title says, Ive got a brand new stater motor fitted about 2 weeks ago and just last night took her out with my uncule to wombat with his vitara and went through this bog hole

Almost got her through but yeah got stuck up to the top of the wheel archers lol (good fun) but yeah engine runs fine but when i turn it off and try to start it all it makes is a wineding sound, almost sounds like my winch, and yeah it doesnt crank ??

What would be the problem with it, hence in saying that ive had it under water many times before with the old starter motor and never had a problem till it shit it self

any thoughts ??

cheers
keith

Yeah mine did the same, you will need to pull it out and clean the solenoid. Clean and spray with wd40.
