Hey,
Im just about half way through my ps conversion on my zook using the bent kit. However im just wondering where/how other people have mounted/run there lines and pump etc. The main problem im having is with the vitara line that runs from the box to the pump. Can i just cut/ shut this and join with a bit of hose and clamps? Or can it be used with a bit of bending?

Pics will be much appreciated.
Thanks

For what it's worth I just got new hoses. Cost around a $100 for
both and you never have to worry about them again.

ok, just want to fit the original hoses for now. Ive got the pump to box one sorted, just looking for ideas on mounting the bottle. My nice clean engine bay is starting to look as cramped as a modern car :? with the baleno motor, falcon alt, thermos, new fuse box, power steer etc etc

Any way ya can then, I was "lucky" enough to have got a set of hoses out of a wreck, so bent in almost the right spot's to fit.

I used the vitara hoses originally and just bent the hard line to make the length suit.
Eventually it fractured along that bend so I cut and joined it with a piece of hose. Been ok ever since.

Ok, So after searching and looking at a few pics most seem to mount on the rad support. But i didnt want to move the overflow so i mounted it on the washer bottle bracket behind the headlight and moved the washer bottle more towards the firewall (in my case wedged up to the 2nd battery).

So these hoses just with hose clamps can be used? On what line would a cooler be placed? The bigger one?

The one from the box to the res, to the pump, that's the low pressure/return line, so it replaces the steel line from box to res, but it is a good idea to replace the H/p line when you can..

Take your old hose/tube to your local hydraulic shop and they should be able to sort you out.

Anyone able to put up a pic of their lines fitted?
The box/pump I brought has the lines all cut off. Been searching the 100's of threads for the last hour but none have pics of the lines fitted.
Thanks

Cheers, few pics here. I'm going to have a mobile guy come out and make up some lines, seems the easiest seeing as I have nothing to go off.
