yeah i heard the lift pushes the rear diff out about 15 mm and the front out 10 mm for the original alignment so the car is crabbing a bit. Even tho the difference would be 5 mm though the correct alignment would result in better traction and stability off road and on road. $500 for pan hard bars is way to expensive. $250 for both would be better Same would apply for the castor. I would expect better traction and stability on and off road. |

I know heaps of people running 50mm lifts in coilys without adjustable panhards and all that shit, and they have no problems... You just don't need it, its just snake racing's way of making a bit of extra cash out of suckers who can't stop spending on their 4WDs... |

Realistically, I found when I put new shocks and springs in mine (2" lift), having the tyres in contact with road more, resulted in far better steering and handling. The car tended to be a lot less jittery. A steering damper will help a lot too. I would just do the suspension lift first and see what you think of that before buying the other stuff. |

ha yeah true true. Pan hard rods should not cost so much. It is only a metal rodl. Do any one have adjustable pan hard rods or modified their own and was there a differnce? Has anyone done the castor bushs? |

haha prob next weekend will def be my last outing for a long time around the same area i went last time, there is one insane granite hill i want to have a go at, if you want to tag along. Back to the initial question, might i suggest keeping it as low and wide as possible, there is no advantage in going super high in such a swb car. U can get away with 2-3" with some sliders on 31"s |

Has anyone done the castor bushs? i had the ultima lift kit from ebay and a 2" bl in my coily. i had no need for adjustable panhard rods or castor correction bushes. to me the only difference in handling was when the sway bar was out. The difference was marginal as long as you drove the car accordingly (its a lifted zook not a race car). I also had 35mm spring spacers in the front. This was only due to the springs supplied in the ultima kit being too soft for a winch + bar and 2nd battery system (about an extra 60kg). they sagged within 2 days
