nope... they dont exist. most who have done it have used the factory screw holes in the bumper to hold a piece of sheetmetal cut to shape that has a new hole in the middle to hold a smaller sized light set. |

i have narva ADR compliant (as opposed to trailer) lights on my sierra. to get them to fit in the stock possie i had to make the hole around 1mm wider and using the stock light mounts i bolted a bit of tin in and then mounted the lights to the tin.

mine are adr for a car most (all) that dont have a reverse light are only adr for a trailer. cross check the numbers on the light with the relevant adr. i would be stunned if any one would ever get pinged for it but. |

separate ADR for stop, tail, reverse and indicator, just put an ADR compliant Reverse light on with it and you are covered |

Reverse lights are not a RWC requirement in Qld.... Why is it that some lights are legal for use on a trailer but not on a car... Surely both need to be equally visible at night as if I'm towing my Zook on my trailer you can't see my Patrol tail lights..... |

i thought there were different requirements for the angles that the lights can be seen. |

Trailers dot need the rev lights. If the car comes standard with rev lights it needs them. If a trailer has rev light mounted but don't work you will get pinged. |

royce wrote: want33s wrote: Reverse lights are not a RWC requirement in Qld.... Since 1972 they certainly are I've spent the last hour and a bit searching the web for info on this... ADR 1/00 Reversing lamps... Introduced 1973 and last revised 2005 covers the approval and fitting/use of reversing lamps but nowhere does it say they are compulsory on a vehicle.... http://www.comlaw.gov.au/Details/F2005L03873 I have spoken to two local RWC mechanics (both officious bastards) and both said that reverse lamps, if fitted, must work but there is no requirement for them. |
