tomsbum's on the money, there is a rubber seat in the top of the spring thingy, peel it out, fit dodgy lift & then put the rubber on, but they can still slip, hence the dodge part..

On my Vit rear, I needed a bumpstop spacer, to stop spring moving sideways,
after a 50mm coil spacer lift.
Front was plenty long enuff,
but I added a bumpstop spacer for other reasons

all those spacers are dodgy as. they should have the spring locators made into them so the spring cant move around. have a look at the buget 2" lit spacer on low range for a vitara. i have a set in my vitara and just set for another set for the new one.
