The speedo cable runs all that stuff, it runs from the transfer case to the back of the speedo cluster... Either its come loose at one end or you've crushed it...

Start with the basics. pop the speedo head out jack the car drive the wheels checking the speedo cable is turning. Might just be chance that it happend at the same time.

the speedo cable only runs the speedo and the odometer haha, that happened to me too mate, the cable was hittin on my chassis until it snapped.

i recomend take the cluster out (easy job, alittle stuffin around) u have to drop the windscreen, cuase their is a plug that sits in the back of it to run the rev counter, fuel and temperature, oh and all the lights (ie. fuel, handbrake light)

You don't have to drop the windscreen to get the cluster out

Thread revival.

Having the exact same issue, but haven't checked my speedo cable to see if it's snapped yet.

How exactly does the gauge cluster come out? I've removed half the friggen car and still can't pop it out. The hazard light switch is getting in the way. :S

Just use a lil bit of force, not enough to bust anything, but enough to get the cluster out... tight fit but that do come out..

& speedo cable's don't need a screwdriver to remove em from the cluster, just pull em, they are designed to come off semi easy..

I've found the cluster comes out easy if ya drop the sterring column, two bolts.

You can also replace the cable without removing dash or cluster.
