hey guys im new to here just brought myself a 92 sierra w/t with a vitara 1.6 just wondering if the starter motor would be off 1.6 or a 1.3 any help would be great also when i go to start it some times its like it has a flat battery and will crank really slow and then it will pick up and crank normalanyone had the same problem?

Check your main earth
Are all you terminals tight
Try will a fully charge battery
Also is your timing right

if you have a short fat starter motor with one side ground back for it to fit, then you have a 1.3 starter modified to fit onto the 1.6 engine. If you have a long thin style starter motor, it's the narrow starter that is supposed to bolt up to the 1.6 engine.
