It's the 93 lwb jlx stock electrics

Author:  royce [ Mon Jan 31, 2011 10:29 am ]
Post subject:  Re: G16b help

yeah there is 6 different types of electrics, most of the early ones have a plug near the fuse box under the dsh you need to short some pins on

get a pic of the airflow meter, smart people can tell from that

Post subject:  Re: G16b help

My eyes aren't that good but in your first pic there seems to be a plug with a soft black rubbery cover that will be the diag plug.

Is it possible you got the leads in the wrong spot? Easy to do even for a experience mechanic.

The result will be a engine that pops, wiggles a lot in the engine bay, and won't start. It will basically look and sound like an engine trying to puke

I have swapped the leads on accident myself. I have to do them all one at a time now, and pay close attention, or I get 'em backwards.
