Is it possible to run 4 link suspension in the front end with mechanical steering ? Or will the draglink bind up the suspension when the front passenger side droops ? EDIT : According to the following thread I may have problems with bumpsteer running a 4 link and mechanical steering http://www.auszookers.com/index.php?nam ... k+steering |

As far as I know it can only be done with a panhard so 3 link or 5 link. The other advantage of a panhard is the links won't need to be triangulated. |

3 link A frame is really a triangulated 4 link with the upper arms joined. |

The Vit diff he built he did the A frame and no panhard, the Sierra diff he built he used a panhard and he is building a 5 link in Kenn's, I would be keen to know how the A frame handled. I would like to avoid using the panhard due to the way it drags the front diff around when getting decent flex, but I'm not looking at going hydro for a while yet.

There is nothing really wrong with a panhard, plenty of rigs run them and get big flex. Joe's A-frame was setup with the drag link parallel to the ground at ride height from memory, so that there was the smallest amount of bump steer possible. He also didnt have hectic huge travel either from memory. Layto.... |

What he said^^. Joe's new set up will be 3 link ( Raidus arms and a panhard rod), as the a frame tends to chew bushes like a lesbian gang bang video. |
