I've just popped the seal on Rusho's old transfer case. I'm interested to know what is common between Jimny and Coily and possibly interchangeable. Does anyone in Brisbane have an old Jimny transfer. I'm keen to see what can be done to boost the high range ratio. If anyone has experience playing around with these I'd like to hear from you. Also wondering if the chain is able to be lengthened. Info I have on the coily case is; Input chain cog = 25 teeth drive cog = 33 teeth Also wondering if anyone has dismantled a VVT Jimny transfer? The end result I'm hoping for is 1.1 High Range or close to, and wondering if the input cog from a VVT case can be substituted for the early Jimny or Coily equivalent. |
