i gave the axles to a mat to remove the bearings and he has nicked the axles with an oxy while cutting them off. it is only a very small cut about 2mm deep and 5mm long. will this effect the axle or are the stuffed?

Hey bud, I've nicked them before, it won't affect the performance of them, the only thing it will affect is the oil seal depending where the cut is, just bung a bit of auto silicone in the cut and around the bearing both sides around the axil and hope for the best

NEVER use an oxy to remove a bearing..... The heat can severely affect the axle making it unsafe....
