I use an oxy
but i only use it on the retaining ring on a tiny flame and the ring just falls off without fucking the axles

i gave the axles to a mat to remove the bearings and he has nicked the axles with an oxy while cutting them off. it is only a very small cut about 2mm deep and 5mm long. will this effect the axle or are the stuffed? |

Hey bud, I've nicked them before, it won't affect the performance of them, the only thing it will affect is the oil seal depending where the cut is, just bung a bit of auto silicone in the cut and around the bearing both sides around the axil and hope for the best |

NEVER use an oxy to remove a bearing..... The heat can severely affect the axle making it unsafe.... |

i just nick them with a grinder and cold chisel to brake it the rest |
