I have removed the plastic crap, but how do you guys remove the bracket. I have a feeling the grinder is my new friend. |

wash the bracket and you should find some spot welds holding it on.. you need to drill out the welds.. or as you say grind it off |

There spot welded, just drill them out |

if done carefully, a grinder will have less of an impact of what it looks like once the brackets have been removed.. |

ground mine off with a die grinder turned out very neat, but i ended up screwing checker plate over the top anyway. |
