Possibly dumb question but does coily seats fit into a leaf sierra? like does all the brackets and everything line up or would you need to mod it abit. |

Nope, Leafy rails won't bolt to a coily seat, or visa versa, the angle of the ends is different. You can cut bits of the Leaf rail up & weld to the Coily rail, but it's all a bit of a hack & unlikely to pass any sort of engineering inspection. Rgs, Michael |

Ok, against my better judgement, I've just done this - fit Coily seats into a Leafer. Ended up cutting all the mounting bracketary off the coily rails & when from there. Didn't want to change the car, so leafy seats can still be bolted in. The rails on the coily are not even across the car - 20mm difference - means the seats ended up being 20mm taller than they should be - still sort of feels ok & you'd get used to it. P/side needed rail 'packers' to the tune of 70mm & 90mm to line up with the drivers. So, doable - yes, if you have a welder & some nouse. Recommended - no, took hours to sort it & I mean about 8-10. Would it pass a RWC inspection? probably not if the tester knew what he was looking at. Rgs, Michael |
