Hey lads,
Completed an engine conversion from the G13A - > G16b recently.
All is running well, and I'm stoked with the result!
I'm just a bit unsure about what needs to be done from here. Do I need to change my insurance, get an engineer certificate or re-register my zook or anything?
If this is the case, what's the best way for a Brissy boy to go about it?
Cheers for your help (as always).

In QLD you need to:
1.) Tell your insurance company. Ha ha if it's RACQ then good luck - better find another...
2.) Get mod (blue) plate.
3.) Go to qld transport to swap the engine number for the new one (they need to sight it).

Contact these guys . $150 should cover mod plate I reckon. And they are mobile.

I'm actually looking around for a roll cage... Maybe I should get that organised first and get both covered in the mod plate...

maybe you should email the guys I mentioed about and see if your planned cage can be mod plated in QLD.
Its always best to consult an engineer BEFORE doing mods.
