What maximum size battery will a standard sierra alt charge? Looking for more power for winch and spotties operations. Will i need the falcon 110amp upgrade if i choose to run a second battery.

no you wont the stock alternator will charge it fine

however a bigger alt allows you to run a lot of this stuff without taking anything from the battery as it has a lot higher reserve

i have 2 z50 sized battery's that get charged by the stock alt with no issues.
