Hey there! I just picked up a quote for $600 to pull the transmission out of my GV420 and replace a spigot bearing - assuming that is what is actually wrong with the vehicle, they were 80% sure. Does this seem like a reasonable quote? Thanks for your time. Kind regards, rwicks10 |

well... if your going that far why don't you just ask them to change the clutch, and throwout bearing whilst ur at it... 600 seems a little steep... i got a quote to get mine done for 5hunge at western brake and clutch |

Hey there! Thanks for the quick response. I would do, however when I purchased the vehicle the previous owner had said that he had replaced the clutch, and I was lead to believe the vehicle had done very little driving under his ownership, as he broke his back. I would definitely be having it checked out though to avoid further issues. Cheers. |

if they only changed the clutch, a GOOD mechanic would have changed the spigot or pilot bearing... so that doesn't really make sense... i would definitly take it else where for a 2nd opinion |
