From what I gather for QLD:

Yes its legal, up to 2 inches, but you must get it approved BEFORE you install it then inspected afterwards.

There are 10 blocks in a Sierra.

The easiest way is to PM just_cruizin on here and get a kit ;)

You have to get approval in principle before you fit body lift..Inspection is only done after installation.

So how do I check if the bodylift that's in my vehicle (from before I bought it) was done properly I.E. approved + paperwork e.t.c.

Would it have a modplate?

Post subject:  Re: body lift ???

nope there is no mod plate for a body lift, you should have been given a DOT certificate i believe.

Didn't get anything but the roadworthy.

DOT might have that sort of thing on record, issue being if its not certified they might defect you if you went to ask??

Indeed, I will just leave it as it is then.

The rubber mounts at the very front are blistered on the front (the side that is/has been exposed to uv) but I can't see that being any problem.
